In my memory, I often fold paper planes with my friends and throw them at each other during the break, we even tried different paper and different shapes to make the paper planes fly farther and higher, so paper plane have long been a symbol of innocence and friendship for me and that is the “connection”. The character in my animation chases the paper plane hoping to touch it but he can never seem to catch up with it……Childhood playmates have long been disconnected and only left a memory in each other’s lives.

I used a lot of simple shapes such as cuboid, cube and cylinder, and there is also a simple scene—- it is my accommodation and I tried use light to put it into a different atmosphere.

I did not think too much about the story but just a few attempts at software and functionality, I tried different texture to match the models even sometime they did not work in a satisfactory way, but for me, they were exciting.

The Birthday Card

Randihr has a lovely son and a beautiful wife, he really love this family but sometimes he can’t control himself and hit his families, right, he is a ambivalent batterer.

And the next day is his son, Distor‘s birthday at age of ten, He knew what does that mean for Distor. He prepared elaborate birthday presents and card, but his illness seemed to have kicked in around this time, his mind began to blur and the only thing in his brain is grabbing everything around him and destroy it, he knew how much he loves Distor, trembling hands seemed to tear the table, he tried his best to control himself and painfully struggled, scrawled a wish to Distor. The intense mental anguish knocked him into a coma, and he could not hold on any longer and finally fell asleep when the card was finished.

The next day, he gave the card to his son, but when Distor opened the card, both of them were shocked——— twisted writing and mangled symbols covered the cards, which read: “Violence, violence, and more violence!” It was too scary for a 10-year-old kid,Distor hid in tears and heard his parents arguing outside his door…… He could never forget this birthday.

“I make no more superfluous excuses.” said by Distor, who is convicted in court of domestic violence.
